Global Presence

Global Presence

Seven countries, and one engineering centre.

We deliberately did not distribute engineering. Client partnership sits close to your time zone across four continents, while build capability stays concentrated in Kathmandu — which is why quality is consistent and cost is roughly 30% below comparable onshore delivery.

The Structural Choice

Distributed engineering sounds impressive and delivers inconsistently.

Many firms our size run engineering in five or six locations, and describe it as global capability. What it usually produces is five or six standards, five or six hiring bars and a client experience that depends on which office won the internal allocation. The seams show up in code review, in handover quality and in the reliability of delivery estimates.

We made the opposite choice. One engineering centre, one set of practice standards, one hiring bar. Our senior engineers in Kathmandu are paid extremely well relative to their market, our operating cost is a fraction of London or New York, and clients receive consistent work at roughly 30% below comparable onshore pricing.

What we do distribute is partnership and accountability — someone in your region, in your time zone, under a contracting entity you can enforce against. Local relationship, central delivery.

The Locations

What each office actually does.

Stated plainly, because 'global offices' in our industry frequently means a registered address and an ambition.

Kathmandu, Nepal

Global HQ & Delivery Centre

Ekantakuna Marg (Near Swiss Embassy), Kathmandu

Global headquarters and the engineering centre where the overwhelming majority of delivery happens. Concentrating build capability in one place is why our quality is consistent and our cost is roughly 30% below comparable onshore delivery.

Sheridan, United States

Americas Entity

75 E 3rd St Ste 7, Sheridan, WY 82801

Our United States entity, handling contracting, client partnership and commercial relationships across the Americas. Client-facing work sits close to the client's time zone while engineering remains centralised.

European delivery and cloud presence, including data residency for clients whose regulatory position requires processing inside the European Union.

London, United Kingdom

Client Partnerships

33A Seven Sisters Road, N7 6AX, London

Client partnerships across the United Kingdom, with the advisory and due diligence work that boards and investors in that market tend to commission.

Mikkeli, Finland

How It Works In Practice

Three things clients notice about the structure.

OBSERVATION 01

Overlap hours are engineered, not hoped for

Kathmandu overlaps meaningfully with Europe and the Gulf, and we run a shifted team for Americas coverage. Every engagement has defined overlap hours written into the working agreement rather than left to goodwill.

OBSERVATION 02

Contracting is local

You contract with an entity in your jurisdiction, under law you can enforce, with local invoicing and tax treatment. The delivery happening elsewhere is our operational concern, not your legal risk.

OBSERVATION 03

Data residency is a design input

Where regulation requires processing inside a jurisdiction, we deploy there. Our Amsterdam presence exists precisely so that EU clients are not asked to compromise on residency for our convenience.

Coverage

Twenty-four hour operations, honestly described.

Support runs continuously across three time zones. Engineering runs primarily in Kathmandu hours with defined overlap. We do not claim that senior engineers are available at three in the morning, because that claim is never true and the people who make it know it.

Questions

What clients ask about geography.

  • 01. Is this offshoring?
It is centralised delivery from our headquarters, which happens to be in Nepal. The distinction that matters is continuity: you get the same named engineers throughout rather than a rotating pool, and they are senior rather than cheap.
  • 02. How do time zones affect us?
Overlap hours are defined per engagement and written into the working agreement. European and Gulf clients have substantial natural overlap; Americas clients are served by a shifted team.
  • 03. Can our data stay in our jurisdiction?
Yes. Client data lives in your cloud accounts in your chosen region, and our Amsterdam presence supports EU-only processing where regulation requires it.
  • 04. Who do we contract with?
The entity in your jurisdiction — Sheridan for the Americas, Amsterdam or London for Europe, Dubai for the Gulf — under local law with local invoicing.
